Visiting the site
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or third-party fonts, scripts or trackers. Our hosting provider, GitHub, Inc. (GitHub Pages, United States), processes technical data such as your IP address and the time of the request in server logs to deliver the site and keep it secure; this can involve processing in the United States, based on standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 GDPR). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Joining the waitlist
- Data: your email address, anything you write in the message (including what you are interested in), and the time we received it.
- Purpose: to send you updates about Hack to Market 2027, including when registration opens.
- Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by sending the waitlist email. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us or using the unsubscribe link in any update; withdrawal does not affect what happened before.
- Recipients: the email services that deliver and store messages sent to go@hacktomarket.com: Google (Gmail and Google Workspace), which hosts our mailbox. They process the data on our behalf. Where this involves a transfer outside the EU/EEA, it relies on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 GDPR) or, where the provider is certified, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
- Storage: until you unsubscribe, and in any case no later than 90 days after the event.
